BREAKING NEWS: Schmidt Guilty of Plagiarism
Aberdeen, Ohio
Ohio Second Congressional District independent write-in candidate Nate Noy late today continued on the path of his anti-corruption campaign trail by releasing proof that Congresswoman Jean Schmidt recently plagiarized an article in the Cincinnati Community Press newspaper. Noy provided proof by stating:
“On July 10, 2006 Congresswoman Deborah Pryce wrote an editorial that appears on her official US house website at: http://www.house.gov/pryce/06%20releases/071006_medcare_savings.htm.”
“On September 13, 2006 Jean Schmidt submitted an article as a ‘guest columnist’ for the Community Press: http://news.communitypress.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060913/EDIT/609130389/1075/Local.”
“It’s the EXACT SAME ARTICLE except for one or two very minor changes.”
Noy added that this action by Schmidt comes as no surprise: “Jean Schmidt is already a convicted liar, to envision her as a thief as well does not take much of a stretch of the imagination. I assume if you talk to Jean she’ll claim to have signed the Declaration of Independence along with Thomas Jefferson and John Hanncock. Jean is corrupt, her ties back to Larry Householder and Bob Taft are ample evidence of her character, this blatant act of plagiarism is nothing more than additional proof of her low moral standards, complete lack of integrity, and highly suspect character.”
Noy again called for Schmidt’s immediate withdraw from the Second Congressional race: “Jean Schmidt is stealing my conservative votes. She is a RINO, and a corrupt one at that. She needs to step aside and let a true conservative run against progressive liberal Vic Wulsin.”

Nate,
Okay, we get it. Jean is not fit to be our Congresswoman. But truthfully besides your self proclaimed honesty and religious beliefs what are you offering. What about the economic development of the eastern counties. LIke the Portsmouth area, Piketon and Waverly. What kind of plans do you have to help them. How about the fact that 2 of the counties in OH02 are being over developed? What about No Child Left Behind Act? Where do stand on things that matter to us little people?
Thanks for the feedback. I will address all of these issues in upcoming blog entries.
Nate
Usefullidiot, if you want to keep farmland in the hands of family farmers, we need more of you Democrats to support 2 things:
1. Eliminate the estate tax.
2. Eliminate eminent domain abuse.
